A couple got married at the Broadoaks Country House hotel in Windermere

GUESTS enjoyed the best wedding they had ever attended in a “magical” ceremony with loved ones of the bride and groom.

The Broadoaks Country House Hotel in Troutbeck provided the perfect setting for teaching assistant, Edyta Kocielska, and health and safety adviser, David Coulson, to declare their love.

Edyta, from Poland, called the day “magical” from start to finish.

The 45-year-old, who works at a special school, first met her husband through her mother who had her own childcare business.

She took care of Edyta’s daughter, Karolina, which eventually led to David and Edyta meeting.

Sparks flew for the loving couple who decided to take their relationship to the next level on a romantic trip to Rome.

David got down on one knee and asked the most important question in front of the Trevi Foundation in Rome – which is Edyta’s favorite place in Italy.

“It was a surprise, but all my relatives knew about it,” Edyta said.

“David asked my sister who lives in Spain to marry me because she is the most important person I can approve of.”

On July 25, 2022, the loving couple said ‘yes’ at the Broadoaks Country House Hotel in Troutbeck, Windermere in front of 60 people.

They were also joined by 40 other guests for the evening celebrations.

Thankfully, the couple’s wedding plans weren’t cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The newlyweds said guests told them their wedding was the best they had ever attended.

Edyta said: “It was a magical day.

“We had the wedding outside with our loved ones and it was very laid back and informal with lots of beautiful sunflowers all around which are my favorite flowers.”

The couple honeymooned in the beautiful city of Santorini after getting married at the lakes.
