ISLAMABAD: A large rush of tourists is seen in different recreational areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on weekends followed by Eid holidays as Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) hotels and motels are booked at full capacity.
According to the PTDC notice issued for tourists, a large number of domestic tourists have flocked to tourist resorts in various parts of the country to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
Hotel occupancy in various tourist resorts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remained at 100% including Bahrain, Kalam Valley, Dir Upper and Kalash Valley.
Similarly, hotel occupancy in Kumrat was 95%, Lower Chitral remained at 90%, Mallam Jaba at 90%, Shogran at 65%, Kaghan at 65%.
