Voyages on the Seven Rivers

In 2023, AmaWaterways will make history by launching the longest running river cruise experience with its first ever Seven Rivers Journey routes. These new experiences take guests across 14 countries for 45 or 46 nights in spring, summer and fall. Seats are still available for the fall start of the Seven River Journey which showcases major capitals, charming villages and World Heritage Sites. Each itinerary includes new excursions, exclusive experiences, complimentary laundry and baggage services, world-class cuisine, Sip & Sail cocktail hours, and the services of a Cruise Director who will accompany each selected group of 144 travelers throughout their journey.

Celebrating Classical Music: Cruises on the Danube

AmaWaterways added a new ‘Classical Music Festival: The Danube‘ cruises to its list of itineraries. This seven-night cruise sails between Budapest and Vienna and highlights the region’s rich history of classical music and legendary composers. Guests can enjoy live performances in beautiful locations, such as Melk Abbey in Austria.

Additionally, the cruise line is introducing a new three-night land package to Krakow, Poland, available as a pre-cruise land package on the “Celebration of Classical Music” itinerary or as a post-cruise land package on the “Majestic Capitals”. of the Danube route. The add-on invites guests to extend their river cruise experiences for three days while seeing the UNESCO-designated Wawel Royal Castle, Oskar Schindler’s Factory and the hourly bugle call of St. Married. A visit to Auschwitz is also available.

Majestic Capitals of the Danube Cruises

AmaWaterways offers a new five nights’Majestic capitals of the Danube‘, which highlights three of Europe’s most spectacular capital cities along the Danube: Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna. Each day will offer a huge selection of included daily excursions such as hilltop hikes, bike rides and tastings.

Guests can explore Krakow, Poland with the new pre-cruise land package. Additionally, AmaWaterways is offering a new post-cruise land package in Salzburg, Austria, during which guests can enjoy historic walking tours, including the Austrian Lake District. They will also have the option of choosing between a specialized “Sound of Music” tour or a visit to Red Bull Hangar 7 where they can learn about historic aircraft and Formula 1 racing cars.
