Canal + has selected the graphyne3 pay-TV management system and ADB’s STB client software to launch its next generation of services to its subscribers in Poland.
The new solution offers an upgrade from the decoders currently deployed to the most recent features. This includes catch-up TV, reboot, and access to a large number of online video libraries and streaming apps like Netflix, with other SVOD services to follow soon. This is all in addition to traditional pay satellite TV, using a modern graphyne3 UX framework.
The new service will first be available to certain subscribers using Canal + UHD decoders as part of a pilot deployment that will begin in December of this year. In the first quarter of 2022, all UHD set-top box users are expected to receive the updated Canal + new features and online user experience.
