ABU DHABI, 17th October, 2022 (WAM) — The World League Forum (WLF) annual meeting, which the UAE Pro League is hosting for the first time in the region, is set to kick off on Tuesday, October 18, at Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City Hotel in Dubai.
The two-day forum will bring together an elite group of decision-makers from the world’s most important football organizations and leagues.
The WLF will host meetings and workshops to discuss issues related to reshaping the future of football, governance and rules of the game, integrity and coordination of international schedules, transfer regulations and the regulation of agents and intermediaries.
The first day of the forum is scheduled to attend two extended workshops, with the participation of many international organizations and football leagues, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19.
Participating delegations began arriving today, including representatives from the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), the European Club Association, the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro), the International Football Association Board (IFAB) and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The meeting will also be attended by representatives of the various football leagues from England, Australia, Belgium, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, Ecuador, France, Germany, India , Israel, Qatar, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Madagascar, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Turkey, America, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe.
