Enseo, the leading technology service provider offering solutions in the hospitality industry, is off to a strong start in 2022, celebrating 134 patents in its 22-year history. Enseo’s comprehensive patent portfolio now includes both core technologies deployed worldwide, as well as critical product innovations and enhancements such as the MadeSafe® emergency alert system, the functionality of IoT-based room control energy management, in-room guest engagement, etc.

Crossing the 100 patent mark is an impressive milestone for any technology company, and Enseo has surpassed it. The Texas-based company is committed to ingenuity with every product developed for in-room entertainment, room control, managed WiFi, and health and safety solutions. Since its inception in 2000, Enseo has grown dramatically, in large part due to its commitment to ingenuity and innovation. The basic engineering background has allowed Enseo to grow from a technology products company to a services company, and is now expanding into new verticals.

“Enseo’s extensive patent portfolio is one of the many reasons for the company’s success,” said Kris Singleton, President and CIO of Enseo. “Innovation has always been part of what appeals to our customers; we are known not only for our strong platform, but for always advancing our technology and creating more features and functionality that improve both operations and user experience.

Enseo founder Vanessa Ogle has 120 patents with a team of inventors at Enseo. She is the principal inventor on more than 85 of these patents, a rare achievement, as women make up only 7.7% of principal inventors who hold patents. Additionally, Ogle is one of the few female inventors with over 50 patents alongside Radia Perlman, Beulah Louise Henry, and Carolyn Bertozzi.

“I was delighted that Enseo passed the milestone of 100 patents. It is gratifying to see the US Patent and Trademark Office honoring the innovation and ingenuity that Enseo has invested in for over 20 years. I am also honored to be one of the few color inventors to be granted a US patent,” said Vanessa Ogle, Founder of Enseo.
