Collaboration has been the key to Krakow’s continued growth and success over the past decade. For example, the KRAKÓW NETWORK brings together nearly 400 people, representing nearly 200 entities and is made up of 5 educational groups. Meanwhile, Kraków Future Lab is tasked with bringing meetings closer to new event technologies. Strong cooperation networks are established not only at local but also national level, including the Polish Congress Office of the Polish Tourism Organization, 16 regional congress offices, national industry associations, site alliances and participation in the program of the ambassadors of the congress. Krakow is also a member of European Cities Marketing.

“Krakow clearly demonstrates its commitment to two of CISC’s core values: working together and embracing innovation. For this reason, the city was an obvious choice for next year’s convention. Delegates to ICCA Congress 2022 can expect a seamless meeting experience that combines a world-class location with cutting-edge event planning, ”said CISC CEO Senthil Gopinath.

ICCA Congress delegates will meet at the ICE Kraków Convention Center, the city’s commercial and cultural flagship. Ideally located in the center, it has hosted many world-class and diverse events such as the 41st session of the UNESCO World Committee, the 15th World Congress of the OWHC and the annual Open Eyes Economic Summit.

“The ICCA Congress is one of the most important events for the meeting industry in the world. Each year, it brings together nearly a thousand of the most experienced specialists in the organization of international conferences and congresses: destinations, places, PCOs and associations. Poland will host for the first time, which on the one hand proves the current, already mature position of our industry, and on the other hand creates great opportunities for its future development “underlines Mayor of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski.

“As immunization rates continue to rise and our world begins to slowly open up again, we are happy to see events return in person. Krakow provides an accessible meeting point for many ICCA members and the city will undoubtedly showcase the best of our industry for international association meetings, ”said Gopinath.
