AUSTINTOWN – McKenna M. Wininger, 26, died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 28, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
McKenna was born on November 12, 1995 in Corn, Okla., the daughter of Glenn Wininger, Michelle Linebaugh DeGenova and Damian DeGenova. She went to Holy Family Elementary School and graduated in 2014 from Cardinal Mooney Secondary School, where she played football.
McKenna loved Pokemon, especially the hero Anima. Reading was her greatest passion, but her brother Dante was everything to her. McKenna was his #1 fan. You could hear his voice above everyone cheering him and his football teammates on. Everyone who met McKenna always left with a smile because she was always very informative and always made you laugh.
McKenna worked with her father, Damian DeGenova, at Capital Title Services as a title processor.
McKenna is survived by her mother, Michelle, and father, Damian; father, Glen; his brother, Dante DeGenova; and her grandmothers, Nancy Linebaugh and Frances DeGenova.
McKenna was predeceased by his grandparents, Roger Linebaugh, Daniel DeGenova, and Conrad and Donna Wininger; and his uncle, Anthony Linebaugh.

A Christian Burial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Holy Family Church, Poland.
