Note to media: Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield to travel to Albania and Poland
Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, will travel to Albania and Poland Nov. 6-9 to reiterate U.S. steadfast support for these two staunch allies who are working with us to respond to the crisis caused by the brutality of Russia. war against Ukraine.
In her meetings with government officials, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield will thank our allies for the many critical ways in which they help the people of Ukraine and uphold the principles of the UN Charter. In meetings with Albanian leaders, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield will express her gratitude for the extraordinary leadership Albania has shown as a member of the United Nations Security Council on a wide range of issues around the world. As her visit comes on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United States and Albania, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield will also discuss ways to strengthen our partnership during meetings with senior officials.
