Poland allowed Ukrainian citizens to enter, including for tourist purposes, from September 9.
This is according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba who spoke Thursday during an online briefing, reports a correspondent of Ukrinform.
“Very good news that everyone was waiting for. Since September 9, Ukrainian citizens have been added to the category of persons authorized to enter the territory of the Republic of Poland, including for tourist purposes, ”said the senior diplomat.
Kuleba noted that people vaccinated against COVID-19 or who had recovered from the coronavirus were exempt from the quarantine warrant after crossing.
The minister also said that to date Ukrainians can travel to 133 countries, under varying conditions.
“Somewhere you have to provide proof of COVID vaccination, somewhere a negative PCR test or a rapid antigen test will be sufficient, but, in principle, you can enter 133 countries and that number will continue to increase,” he said. underlined the manager.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy recalled the launch on September 1 of a hotline for assistance and tourist support in Egypt: 196-54.
“It’s a phone number in Egypt where you can get all the advice you need on your vacation in your native language that you understand,” Kuleba said.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on July 15 the EU Council added Ukraine to the list of countries with which member states are recommended to phase out restrictions on non-essential travel.
