And when it comes to collecting rewards, he dresses to impress … especially when it comes to what he has on his wrist.

Lewandowski wore a Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968 “Khaki Green” in 18k white gold, valued at £ 170,000, to the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

The 33-year-old won two awards: the Maradona award for top scorer of the year and the TikTok Fans player of the year.

The Armani hotel at the Burj Khalifa hosted the event as Lewandowski shared the stage with Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe.

Lewandowski’s 69 goals in one year place him tied with Cristiano Ronaldo, five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Only Lionel Messi has scored more in 12 months, scoring a record 91.

Messi propelled Lewandowski to the 2021 Ballon d’Or but conceded in his speech that the Poland international deserved at least one Golden Ball.

In his acceptance speech, the Argentinian said: “Robert, you deserve your Ballon d’Or.

“Last year everyone agreed that you were the big winner of this award.”
