Take notes, hotels! The Selina property, a popular hotel chain, will now offer plant-based alternatives for every item on its menu.
The company is known for its hospitality programs, on-site yoga classes, and programs promoting local artists, and now it’s going to increase its hospitality even further with its plant-based alternatives. Redefine Meat will be featured on menus in items such as the flank cut, sausages and even a kebab mix.
The Selina property offers guests beautiful places to stay, travel and work abroad indefinitely. They have thousands of activities and experiences in over 145 destinations around the world. Most of the company’s properties are in Latin America, but it is opening more locations in the United States, Europe, Israel and Australia.
The company will slowly start introducing new menus. They already have an all-plant-based restaurant in London, and another property will be introducing plant-based options to their restaurant later this month.
The plant-based food market is booming, and research suggests it could offset 7.7 percent of the global protein market by 2030. With a value of $29.4 billion in 2020experts suggest the plant-based foods market could be worth more than $162 billion by the end of the decade.
