The very first collapsible hotel room was launched in Ireland

Would you like to stay in a hotel room that you can open?

Samsung launched the very first foldable hotel room in Ireland to coincide with the recent release of a flip phone line.

The room offers the possibility of “mechanically opening” as well as being filled with technology, interiors to compete with a real luxury hotel room, a swing, a folding terrace and is located in a picturesque location at Lough Dan in the Wicklow Mountains.

The foldable hotel was developed by the company to mimic the “flip” nature of their recently released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 or Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 phones.

The hotel room may be the first of its kind here in Ireland, however, foldable hotel rooms are already a feature elsewhere in Europe thanks to the Dutch company Flexotel, which offers foldable hotel rooms that can be packaged in 10 minutes to be transported to any location the traveler desires.

When folded, the Dutch hotel room becomes so compact that even a single truck can deliver 10-20 hotels to any location, meaning that implementing portable rooms in Ireland could perhaps mean de great things for festivals and other areas where outdoor accommodation would be required. in the future.

On the occasion of the launch of the foldable hotel room, Samsung offered itself at the price of one night for one person and one more in the room and a new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 or Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 .
