Exotic travel opportunities are currently limited due to the ongoing pandemic and the rapid spread of the new Omicron variant, but hopefully, fingers crossed, we all have those well-deserved vacations during the year to to come.
If you are starting to think about where you would like to go on your next trip, have you given any thought to how your zodiac sign might affect your preferences?
“Chic hotel or small B&B, warm climate or fresh air, humid environment or dry destinations – our favorite vacation spot is strongly linked to who we are astrologically,” explains mystic and astrologer Inbaal Honigman.
Meanwhile, astrologer, energy mentor and psychic Julie Chandler says the elemental state (fire, earth, water, air) and the ruling planet for each sign influences our likes and dislikes. “These planets and elements each contain key factors that have a subtle impact on the sign they rule, such as a coded message that is imprinted from birth.”
Here, our astrologers walk through each astrological sign and suggest ideal destinations for the next year …
Those born under Aries (March 21 to April 19) are “Crazy, active and busy, they rarely sit down and don’t appreciate the peace and quiet. It would lead them to choose a perfect place, uplifting and unstoppable, popular and loud, ”says Honigman.
“A crowded, loud and muddy outdoor music festival would give them the opportunity to dance and jump between different acts and stands. Another very Aries destination is the Inca Trail – combining scenic views, dangerous trails, and hours of hiking to create one of these unique adventures.
With Venus as the ruling planet, Taureans (April 20 to May 20) appreciate the finer things in life, Chandler says, “Think about beauty, romance, and art – (they’re) naturally drawn to vibrations. the aesthetic eye to match ”, which is why it suggests the Italian cities of Venice and Rome.
“Being located outside of the city with the freedom to travel would be great for this sign so that they can get peace, preferably with a view, then the stunning romantic beauty of the city’s architecture.”
Symbolized by twins, Gemini (May 21 to June 20) have “equal and opposing views on everything from flower arrangement to parenthood. They’ll see both sides of the argument, ”Honigman explains.
Therefore, they need an exciting vacation destination that offers urban exploration and the great outdoors: “A city like LA, which can offer expansive beaches like the long and young Venice Beach, and also Rodeo Drive, which home to some of the fanciest boutiques in the world, will let a Gemini choose which “twin” they are each morning. Or maybe Israel, where a road connects the snow-capped mountains to the sandy desert.
“Cancer, a sign of water, is ruled by the moon. We are talking about waves and are perfectly in tune with the flow of nature for this sign, ”says Chandler. This is why Cancers (June 21 to July 22) like to be by the ocean.
Chandler recommends “Somewhere like the Greek Islands with a beautiful, stunning view of the sea, beautiful beaches and the moon rising in the sky – think Santorini”.
As the astrological king of the jungle, Lions (July 23 – August 22) love to “be treated like royalty.” They appreciate a destination that sounds good, looks great in photos – and has lots of luxurious goodies, ”says Honigman.
For a winter break, she suggests Courchevel in the French Alps: “Every ski slope, every store and every café has more than a hint of luxury. Alternatively, Barcelona has “so many unique Instagrammable corners, a Lion could spend days securing the nicest spots to have a hand-cut Iberian ham or a secret Catalan ice cream recipe”.
Virgo (August 23 to September 22) is “a practical sign who enjoys routine. Travel is exciting for them as long as it’s organized, ”says Chandler. Virgos will also be “drawn to the idea of language and education, so somewhere they can embrace a new culture” is ideal.
Croatia, might be a good choice for Virgos, she suggests, and: “Opting for a location near the forest will respond to their earthly energy.”
“The sign of the Libra, which stands for Libra, tells us that they assess things, think about it – but it’s a never-ending effort,” says Honigman. Libras (September 23 – October 22) are “always happy to take a vacation – but honestly, they don’t mind!” “
Therefore, a small boat cruise would be “quite their street – relaxing, non-demanding and totally liberating.” They are also quite intellectual, so they would like a destination steeped in history, like Athens, Greece.
A water sign ruled by Mars and Pluto, Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21) enjoys “busy, busy vacations where they have a sense of accomplishment,” says Chandler.
They are “also focused on transformation and detoxification so that they can enjoy a remote retirement without a phone, as long as they could be active in it.” They may be pressured to go as far as possible, for example to find a retreat in Mexico.
“Sagis are free and uncensored explorers and they love to discover new paths and trails,” Honigman explains. For Sagittarius travelers (November 22 – December 21), a busy itinerary is essential, but that doesn’t necessarily mean high octane activities.
“The islands in Thailand would be ideal for Sagittarians who like to rest by the sea. Or a fabulous few days in New Orleans, where the multitude of cultures and views would delight them day or night. “
As an earthly element, Capricorns (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) love the outdoors, says Chandler, “Ruled by Saturn, they enjoy something with a discipline that requires patience for results. Being detail-oriented, they would appreciate a mountaineering or hiking vacation. Even skiing would be great as they would like to get acquainted with the practice of learning to ski.
Likely to enjoy solo travel, Aquarians (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) love “to be left alone.” Not distant or snobbish – they just enjoy their own company and love the chance to recharge their batteries, ”Honigman said.
“A few days in Poland might be the perfect fit: the pier to a quiet seaside town, perhaps a peaceful salt mine and a historical commemorative tour would together make for a wonderfully unique journey for an Aquarius. Or a boat trip off the New Zealand coast – and an underwater observatory, to enjoy the silence of the ocean.
“Pisces are our big dreamer, they will think big on their trip,” says Chandler. “Also a creator of images, they will love photography and landscapes. “
Led by Uranus, the Piscian Vacationers (February 19 – March 20) would suit “places like Thailand or an African safari, where they can admire the beautiful scenery and live a dream they’ve always wanted to achieve.”
